This single malt Irish whisky was distilled using a single vintage of Overture barley grown on the south coast of Co. Wexford by Ed Harpur on his Bannow Island farm (fun fact: Bannow Island isn't an island - it once was, but not anymore). Surrounded by the sea and grown on sandy soil, this is an excellent exploration of barley's terroir in relation to whisky.
