Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve
A "Pure Malt" (as the label says) whisky from the Ichiro's Malt series, containing whisky from the closed Hanyu distillery and matured, vatted, and bottled at the Chichibu distillery. This edition was given a finishing period in French wine casks.
- PURE MALT WHISKY FINISHED IN WINE CASKS – Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is a blend of single malts finished in French oak wine casks. These casks impart floral, nutty notes and a lasting fruitiness, creating a distinctive and refined Japanese pure malt.
- ELEGANT AND RICH WITH DRIED FRUIT NOTES – This pure malt offers layers of red berries, candied citrus, and white flowers. A hint of pepper joins flavours of dark chocolate, ginger, and red apple, leading to a long, spicy oak finish.
- LAYERS OF FLAVOUR FROM FRENCH WINE CASKS – Aged in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in rare Ovum wine casks from France, creating an incredible complexity to the whisky.
