Production
The Denominación de Origen Protegida Alicante, on the Eastern coast of Spain enjoys a warm climate throughout the year and the positive influences of the Mediterranean. The inland mountainous areas have a Continental climate. A selection of the best Muscat grapes are carefully picked then vinified. Cold maceration in a pneumatic press for 6-8 hours followed by fermentation with selected yeasts at 14ºC.
Tasting notes
Appealing bright, grapey and lightly floral aromas. The palate is bright with exotic notes of lychee and passion fruit, a clean minerality, and fresh finish.
Food match
Perfect to accompany fish dishes, paellas, sea food and white meats. It is also an excellent aperitif.

Meet the Producer
Bodegas Murviedro was founded in Valencia in 1927, as the Spanish subsidiary of the Swiss Schenk Group, and has grown to become one of the most important wineries in the region.
It has access to a wide range of both indigenous and international grape varieties, and produces a broad portfolio of wine styles. The company's philosophy is based on combining modern winemaking techniques with grapes from traditional vineyards - to meet the highest international quality standards, while maintaining their Spanish character and originality.
A Note on Sustainability
At Bodegas Murviedro, policies and commitments to preserving and looking after the environment form a fundamental part of their philosophy. They champion sustainable viticulture and oenology. Many of their vineyards are grown organically using biodynamic techniques, as well as production and ageing methods that are as environmentally friendly as possible. In addition, they produce vegan wines which avoid the use of products of animal origin during the entire winemaking process. One of their main goals is to reduce our emissions and gases, ultimately working towards meeting the requirements set out by the Spanish Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge for its Registry of Carbon Footprint, Offsetting and CO2 Removal, and they are putting all their efforts into improve their electrical efficiency by installing solar panels, streamlining the consumption of machinery and switching to low-consumption LED light bulbs, among many other things. In terms of water and waste reduction, they boast a modern filtration system and recycle all glass and cardboard used at the winery.
In addition, some of their range is Certified Organic.
