McQueen Super Premium Dry Gin
An addition to the McQueen range introduced in late 2016 - their Signature Dry Gin. While their other expressions focus on particularly interesting flavours (including Smokey Chilli Gin and Chocolate Mint Gin), this one features a more traditional flavour profile with up-front juniper and citrus. Produced in Scotland.
Tasting Note
Nose
Through a clean and distinct forest floor aroma, there are notes of iris petals and lemon sherbet. Full-bodied juniper forms the backdrop with rich vanilla.
Palate
Crisp lime emerges with light prickles of fragrant cassia. Gentle juniper is present throughout with more vanilla.
Finish
Fresh, leafy coriander lingers.
Overall
An earthy gin with plenty of refreshing citrus elements that’s brilliant in a Martini.
