Bordeaux Red Wine Single Cask Bottling

Stained red on the outside, these high quality Bordeaux red wine casks are delivered fresh to the island from the châteaux of South West France. In the first few months of maturation, our spirit develops a pink hue in these casks, which turns into a deeper, darker red.

Bold flavours and fruity notes develop in the spirit – including dried fruits, sultana, grape, Christmas cake & bread pudding.

Released every 2 years as peated and unpeated spirit.

Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Bottling Releases

The Bordeaux red wine casks we use are made from two oak species, Quercus patrea & Quercus robur, adding savoury spice, whilst the red wine imparts tannins into the new make spirit.

The casks were previously used to age three vintages of Bordeaux red wine, resulting in sumptuous, fruity top notes in our spirit like blackberries, plums, and cherries.
