A blended malt from The Glasgow Distillery Co., inspired by the malt tax riots of 1725. The Government tried to impose taxes on Scotland's malted barley, which people protested against, particularly in Glasgow, where malt stores were barricades and excise men are chased away the city. This expression features a core of the distillery's 1770 whisky, and features other malt whiskies from across Scotland.
